Any material used on your walls such as backerboard, tile, or acrylic walls will decrease the size of your rough opening.

2. How to know what size shower door I need for my opening?
Ordering the correct size shower/tub door is so essential for a proper installation. Measuring must be done after the tile or finished wall material has been installed. Check to ensure that your walls are plumb and that your shower base/tub or flat surface shower floor is level. Please refer to our “How to measure” page for measuring instructions. If you're still unsure about the size or installation requirements, it's best to consult with a professional installer or retailer who can help you choose the right shower door for your space.
3. What does frameless and semi-frameless mean?
A frameless door refers to a glass door that does not have any visible frames or supporting structures around its edges. While a semi-frameless door has a partial frame or supporting structure around its edges, typically made of the same material as the frameless door.
Delavin's shower doors are available in both framed, semi-frameless so as to meet different needs.
4. Are your shower doors reversible?
All Delavin doors are reversible. Usually, a shower door that is not reversible is one that has a fixed hinge and can only be installed in a specific orientation.
5. Can your shower doors be installed either left or right?
All Delavin doors can be installed left or right against the wall, depending on your preference.
6. Can I purchase the hardwareor any replacement parts for this shower door?
At present, Delavin hardware or any replacement parts are not available for individual sale.

8. Do your shower doors adjust for out of level threshold conditions?
Delavin shower doors have no ability to adjust for an out of level shower base or tub.
9. How do I know if my wall is out of plumb?
We recommend placing a level on your finished wall to check for out of plumb conditions. Or you can refer to “How to measure” page.
10. What do I do about a wall that is out of plumb?
If your wall out of plumb, we do not recommend buying Delavin shower doors.
11. How to clean my Delavin shower door?
We recommend removing water with a glass squeegee or soft cloth after each use to avoid water spots. Clean your door with a soft cloth and a special cleaner, such as rain-x. Do not use any abrasive or harsh cleaners which can scratch your glass. And of course, you can also refer to "How to clean" page.
12. What is the thickness of the glass of the shower door products?
Most Delavin shower doors have 5/16” thick glass. The only exceptions are B707, B707B, B101, B101B, F101 which each have 1/4" thick glass.
13. Are Delavin Shower Door Glass Panels ANSI Certified?
Yes, all shower doors from Delavin have tempered glass that is ANSI-certified.
14. Does Delavin Shower Door Glass have blast proof film?
Yes, all shower door Glass from Delavin is covered with explosion-proof film to prevent shards from scattering in case of breakage.
15. For missing parts, what steps should be taken for replacement?
Please locate the order number and model number from your unit as well as the part description from your installation instruction sheet if available. Email customer service and we would be happy to assist you.
16. Do you have any suggestions about installation?
We suggest that there should be two persons for installation as the shower door is relatively heavy. And if possible, you can find a professional contractor to install the door.
17. How quickly will I receive my product ordered from your company?
We ship your orders out within 24-72 hours (business days). All items ship from our warehouse in the US. Transit times vary depending on where the item is shipping to, but normally delivery time takes 3 to 10 business days. If you still haven’t received your item after 10 business days, please contact us immediately, we will track your order at once.
We strongly suggest you schedule your installation after the shower door is delivered due to unexpected delivery issue.
18. Do you ship outside the US?
Unfortunately, we do not ship outside of the United States.
19. What payment methods are accepted online?
We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal and Installment payments.
20. How can I initiate a return?
From the day you receive your order, you have 30 days to return your item. Log into your account and click on the "Returns & Exchanges" tab and fill out the return form. If you do not have an account, go to our Return Center. Please upload at least one picture to confirm that the return item is intact with manufacture tags attached, and returned in its original packaging.
Once we receive your return request, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions on how to return your items. Please make sure that the returned item is "resalable condition", otherwise we cannot issue an exchange or refund for you. Please also make sure that you send out the returns within 1 week of receiving the return label, otherwise we will not issue an exchange or refund for you.
21. How can I modify or cancel my order?
1) You must contact our customer service department. Their contact info can be found in the confirmation email you have received. You will also need the order number of the order you wish to modify or cancel.
2) You can cancel items from orders that haven’t yet shipped by signing into your Delavin’s account and selecting Orders & Purchases.
Select a reason for cancellation and then select Yes, Cancel. You’ll receive an email with the updated order information shortly after.
22. How do I send my return?
For return, we recommend using the original packaging. Once we receive your return request, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions on how to return your items. Please make sure that the returned item is "resalable condition", otherwise we cannot issue an exchange or refund for you. Please also make sure that you send out the returns within 1 week of receiving the return label, otherwise we will not issue an exchange or refund for you.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Please make sure to use the shipping label provided by us. Any return without our return shipping label WILL NOT be confirmed or refunded.
The returned items should be undamaged and in resalable condition. Products that have been modified and installed cannot be returned or exchanged.
23. How can I track an order?
Check your order status online by entering the order number and email. You’ll receive email updates if your order status changes.
24. What is Delavin’s warranty coverage?
Delavin provides a Limited 1-Year Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty for all glass shower doors, and tub doors in Matte Black, Silver and Matte Gold. Warranties are constrained to the original installation and owner. More information is available on each product page.
This limited warranty excludes all industrial, commercial, and business usage. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from Delavinhome.com, Description and pictures of defect, model number or model description must be provided.
25. How do I register my warranty?
Delavin provides a Limited 1-Year Lifetime Warranty for all glass shower doors and tub doors within 365 days after receipt.
This limited warranty shall not apply to goods which have been subject to accident, negligence, improper installation, product abuse, product misuse, or use of cleaners containing abrasives, alcohol or other organic solvents, whether it was performed by a contractor, service company, or yourself, are excluded from this warranty.
This warranty does not cover surface damaged caused by use of chemicals that break through or dissolve the surface finish or damage caused by the accidental dropping of sharp or heavy objects. Improper care and use of abrasive cleaners and will void the warranty.
