I'm going to show you how to clean your glass shower door so that it Sparkles like new I'm going to show you the best tips and tricks to keeping it. Clean. I'll show you some ways to clean your shower track so that your door can slide more effectively and efficiently how to clean that shower head and remove those mineral deposits also removing mold and mildew and finally a little trick. - For you is using some hydrogen peroxide or vinegar I like to do a 50 50 ratio when it comes to these two household products. Today. I'm going to be going in with the vinegar 50 water and 50 percent vinegar. Then I like to grab a little Dawn dish soap. You can use any sort of dish soap that does some excellent degreasing action and put a little squirt in your water. Bottle give it a good little Shake here. This is great because it also helps get rid of that pink scum that you often see around the perimeter of your shower spray. This on your shower door and again rub rub rub rub lifting all of those hard water spots and anything else that has been stuck to that door. Please look a bonus tip for you. What I like to do is grab some plastic wrap and lay it across the glass shower door. This helps keep it moist and it makes sure that the product stays in place. You can also use this little trick in your microwave or if you have a really dirty Stove Top. This is excellent let that sit for about 30 minutes once it's sat then you're going to come back take off the plastic wrap and then rinse and wipe clean now. Any sort of moisture or water make sure that you avoid the shower floors. I do not want anyone slipping so that's why I'm applying it to a rag or a paper towel here so that I have better control on the application of the Rain-X glass cleaner if you can repel that water even better which means less cleaning for you. The second product that I also enjoy is this clean shower my family and I have been using this for years and when I say years I'm talking like 20 plus years. This helps prevent soap scum buildup and hard water stains and has a nice mellow smell to it and again you can spray this all over your shower which I highly recommend after each use get any pink scum along the grout lines in your shower. Basically anywhere how about some mold and mildew this OxiClean with bleach is amazing however make sure that you are not mixing this with any other cleaners particularly anything acidic such as vinegar. What's great about this OxiClean and bleach is that it sticks and it clings to the impacted area let that sit for as long as humanly possible. I just went in with a cleaning toothbrush here to help lift things a little bit more along with agitating it. The solution that I previously showed you I'm just going in with my 50 50 ratio of the vinegar and the drop of Dawn dish soap spray that in there and again taking a different cleaning toothbrush you're going to scrub the impacted area to help lift the grease and grime and anything else that's stuck in there. Let this sit for about 15 minutes or more and then you're going to come back and wipe it. Clean and your track should slide even better than ever how about your shower head. These tend to accumulate a ton of soap scum and mineral deposits and make it so that your shower is not running as effectively as it could just going in again here with my combination spray you can use this as a household cleaner I love using it for so many different things within my house not just for your shower. But once you spray that down again taking your plastic wrap we want to seal in our vinegar combination. Let this sit for about 30 minutes or more depending upon how much buildup you have on that shower head and make sure that you wipe it clean and run your hot water for a bit in your shower. You may have seen this little hack with a baggie that you put over your shower head. However I prefer this method more you don't have to worry about any vinegar dripping on you and you actually end up using less product less waste.Read More
- So that's great last but not least how about anti-fogging this. Rain X anti-fog I am so impressed with this. This is great not only for your automobiles but it is great for your home. We're going to test this out on the bathroom mirror and see how it works spray a generous amount here. I'm just putting it on a paper towel so that I can control the application a bit better make sure everything is rubbed in and then I went ahead and turned on the hot water shut all the doors so that we can see this product in action. You can see here. It is working very well on the bathroom mirror the section where I sprayed the Rain-X anti-fog well. We have no fog my friend that's pretty cool. You may have seen this little trick done with shaving cream. However after the first or second shower the shaving cream no longer works very well and the application is quite messy. I wanted to test this out on the glass shower door. So we've cleaned up our shower. It is looking amazing using let's see if we can prevent some fog. I put a generous amount here on a paper towel put it on the glass shower door and then I turned on that hot water. Let it run for a few minutes and you can see. Here. It is working amazing so here's the bonus on this one. Not only is it anti-fog but if water is not clinging and sticking to your glass shower door.
