  • 00:55 It was a maybe 80 to 100 grit sandpaper and it's just a light sand to get any of like the varnish off or anything that's on the top and then I alternate towels. So I start with a dry towel to get all of the dust off and then I go on with a damp towel to get everything kind of wiped off. And then I go through again with a clean towel and make sure that I didn't miss anything that everything is ready to be painted and I love the pink color we chose.

  • 02:09 But it really does help and then starting with the cabinet doors. I did the same thing a light sand and then alternating the towels. So it dry damp than dry towel. Again. I just masked off the hinges so that I didn't have to go and take everything off but that's completely up to you. I just masked everything off and painted around it and then for my favorite part. It is so satisfying seeing those clean lines I do kind of splurge on our masking tape. I use the green frog tape and it always leaves really clean lines and I will use nothing else. Besides this.
